How to volunteer with Hearts and Hands
You can impact the life of a neighbor in your own neighborhood by volunteering as little or as much as your time allows. Volunteering with Hearts and Hands is easy and flexible. Our volunteers love our scheduling portal.
Whether you’d like to volunteer by providing transportation to your neighbors, helping with household chores, or providing socialization opportunities, you’ll be ensuring that older adults in your community can remain independent in their homes and empowered to age in place.
To get started, fill out our online application at www.hnhcares.org. Once at the home page, click the Volunteer with Us tab and you will see a red button that says, "Apply Online". This application should take 10 minutes or less!
Once received, a staff member will connect to schedule your 1-hour volunteer training and run your background check. Within two weeks’ time you can begin helping your neighbors in need.
