Where will you witness the Total Solar Eclipse on 8APRIL2024? JOIN US at Pelion Outdoor Classroom!
We will host a picnic, arts&crafts, games, photo opps, poetry, and even some seed starting.
Volunteers are needed to greet guests, pass out protective eyeware, help with photos, manage games and crafts and setup blankets and make sandwiches.
BPS schools have canceled classes for the day. The eclipse occurs around 3pm so we are not sure how many families or students will attend.
Special protective glasses are required to view the eclipse safely. Erie county is offering free glasses (2 per person) at public libraries and other locations. Please bring a pair for yourself if possible. We will have a limited number of pairs available as well.
