15JAN MLK Jr DAY OF SERVICE: time TBD but tentatively noon-2pm
Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of tasks! Most tasks do not require skills but a few do; we're requesting at least 1-3 carpenters. It will definitely be COLD so we're also asking an adult/HS student to monitor the camp stove and serve cider or cocoa.
Tasks include: removing old pieces of fence, measuring, cutting and installing the new fence rails at the front; Clearing snowberries; Hanging stockade panels/trellis; Filling new troughs with old logs etc; Clearing remaining contaminated soil at old plum tree footprint.
We need a handful of parents/adults to supervise small teams and 1-2 folks with decent tool and small carpentry expertise.
