Buffalo Making A Difference Youth Program, a division of the United Black Men’s Think Tank of Buffalo, Inc., is pleased to announce that it will hold the City of Buffalo’s first annual “ Youth Empowerment & Family Fun Day Event” in Martin Luther King Jr. Park, on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 11AM till 6PM.   This end of the summer, back to school event is presented in conjunction with State Senator Timothy M. Kennedy, with support of the City of Buffalo Common Council, and the Masten Block Club Coalition.

This family centered, fun filled day is free and open to the public with activities designed for children of all ages. Middle and high school age students will enjoy a visit to the “Youth Empowerment Tent” where youth participants will find informative exhibits from area schools, colleges, and businesses.

Here they will have the opportunity for personal interaction with representatives providing information and guidance designed to help them select the institutions, training and skills required for their future education and employment choices.
