Who We Are

Mission Statement

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s (NCMEC/NY) mission is to help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; help find missing children; and assist victims of abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them.

What We Do

The Buffalo Office is focused on Prevention Education. NCMEC provides abduction prevention and internet safety presentations for children ages 5-17. NCMEC Buffalo services schools, community centers, summer camps, churches all free of charge. 

In addition NCMEC also attends various outreach events to provide the community with different marketing materials to help educate care takers on the risks associated with abduction, sexting, online predators, cyber bullying, sharing too much information online, etc.
