We are establishing a Memorial Rock Garden for our main benefactress who passed away last year. Our building is named after her.

Our volunteers will help us build the garden!

Having this project completed will allow us to efficiently distribute the clothing to the youth in need, in our residential and foster care programs.

Our Day of Caring volunteers will spend a day with our residents: Craft, art, or visit 1:1 with residents.

Two volunteers on each side of the building, can use a gathering room or "neighborhood" (will make sense when you see the building) to do a project.

Our Day of Caring Volunteers will help tidy and organize our production workshop --- the space where sets, props, and creative ideas come to life. By helping us refresh this important workspace, you’ll support the artists and craftspeople who build the world our young audiences experience on stage.

For this service project we are asking for volunteer who can help us prepare our grounds for our 6 week summer experience Dream Big!. This will entail grounds keeping work (clearing sticks/brush, weeding, etc.), carrying boxes/equipment from our attic storage to active program storage, assembling picnic tables and other equipment, inventory of supplies, and any other tasks that may arise based on the above preparations

The Tapestry K–4 School hosts a Field Day at the end of each school year!

This special event gives students the opportunity to participate in organized stations and activities on the Tapestry Track & Field. Teachers, staff, and families volunteer to run these stations and help create a fun, celebratory day for our students as they wrap up the school year.

Our Day of Caring volunteers will help to run some of the stations, so we can offer even more opportunities and fun for students.

Stations can include activities like relay races, balloon tosses, or similar games.

We need need 5 barbers and hairstylists, and 1 person to offer braids. Barbers & Cosmetologists must hold a current respective NYS license.
