The Tool Library has introduced a Bi-Annual Tool and Bake Sale to help fund our mission.
Our Fall Sale, Tools or Treats will take place on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 and we are seeking volunteers for set-up, run-of-show, and break-down.
Anyone wishing to donate home-baked goods for the bake sale, may email lissa@thetoollibrary.org for further instructions.
Set-up Volunteers will arrive at 9 AM and should be able to stay for a minimum of 2 hours. Folks will be responsible for lifting up to 50 lbs, setting up pop-up canopies, tables, and displays of used tools. We will also be packaging baked goods, and hanging signage.
Run-of-Show Volunteers will arrive at 12:30 PM on the day of, and be required to attend at least one group meeting prior to the event. All Run-of-Show volunteers should be available for at least 3 hours, but until 5 PM would be preferred. Folks will be responsible for cashing out tool and baked goods, keeping track of all sales, rearranging tool and baked good displays as needed, and being generally friendly!
Break-Down Volunteers will arrive at 4:30 PM and stay until 6:30 PM or until all tables, tents, and tools are put away.
