Call For Artists!
Hearts and Hands hosts a new Chalk Art Festival in Clarence Day in the Park, an annual event presented by the Clarence Lion’s Club, on Saturday, July 25th, 2015 at Clarence Main Street Town Park. Featuring a competition for young adults and adult artists 12-4pm.
Individuals who wish to participate may pre-register on the Hearts and Hands website at http://hnhcares.org. Aspiring artists from ages 11 and up will have a chance at winning local art prizes generously donated by local businesses including A Painted Canvas Art Studio, Van Gogh On the Rocks, and Blick Art Supplies, by drawing in the theme “Fun in the Sun” with pastels and sidewalk chalk. Each participant will be provided a designated blacktop space. The competition is weather-dependent, separated by young adult and adult categories, and will feature community judges. Registration begins at 11:30am, and prizes will be awarded at 5pm.
