Who We Are
It is the mission of Cattaraugus and Wyoming Counties Project Head Start to empower families’ well-being, while nurturing and educating children for school and life
What We Do
Head Start prepares America’s most vulnerable young children to succeed in school and in life beyond school. To achieve this, Head Start provides high quality services to children and families in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being while engaging parents as partners every step of the way. Cattaraugus and Wyoming Counties Project Head Start sites are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Head Start reaches 282 3- and 4-year-old children in center based programs. Early Head Start serves 50 infants, toddlers and pregnant women in a home based program.
