Who We Are

A grant-funded Community Action Agency established to fight poverty in Allegany

County by providing human services to individuals and families necessary to achieve

self-sufficiency and economic security.

What We Do

ACCORD is the designated Community Action Agency for Allegany County and provides services to individuals and families living at or below federal poverty level in Allegany, Cattaraugus and Wyoming Counties.

The agency operates programs which serve all ages, including Business and Entrepreneurial Programs, Child Care Resource and Referral Programs, Domestic Violence Program, Housing and Homelessness Prevention Programs, Food Pantry, Section 8, Head Start and Early Head Start, Youth Programs, Advantage After School Programs, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and the Community Action Angels Program. 

Volunteers are engaged in each program of ACCORD, based on preferences, skills, and experience.  You're welcome to join us to help us make a difference in the lives of the people we serve!
